Earth Day - Our commitments to a more sustainable future
Earth Day is a global event celebrated annually on April 22nd to promote awareness and action for the protection of our planet. Founded in 1970, this day provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of environmental sustainability and to make concrete commitments to protect and preserve the Earth for future generations.
Here at Ciesse, we are dedicated to creating a sustainable future. Solar energy is one of the cleanest and most sustainable resources available to us, and we are happy to adopt it as an integral part of our operations. By installing solar panels on the roof of our facility, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, and contributing to the fight against climate change.
In addition to reducing environmental impact, the use of solar energy also helps us save on long-term energy costs, allowing us to invest in other sustainable initiatives and further improve our activities.
Moreover, Ciesse Transport, our transportation company, operates with advanced trucks to minimize CO2 emissions and we are actively pursuing the use of e-Fuels, innovative synthetic fuels with minimal or zero carbon content, produced by combining hydrogen and carbon dioxide.
