Wild Thyme

Wild Thyme is a perennial plant with a ground-covering habit, growing close to the ground and forming dense cushions. Its branches are covered with small, dark green lanceolate leaves. It produces small pink or purple flowers, grouped in terminal inflorescences or along the branches. Flowering typically occurs in spring or early summer and can continue for several weeks. Wild thyme has a strong, penetrating aroma.
