During the 1985 Champions League final in Brussels, Sandro Cepollina, with several years of experience as a sales representative for a flower exporting company, was persuaded by a dear friend, a German flower importer, to start his own company. That same year, Sandro embarked on the adventure and founded Ciesse Flower Export.

Recognising the pivotal role of service quality alongside product excellence, he invested in a 6.5-ton refrigerated truck for initial deliveries to England and Germany.
In 1997, the company made a strategic move to a cutting-edge facility covering 5,500 square meters. This state-of-the-art location is outfitted with the latest technologies and solar panels to generate sustainable and clean energy, driving productivity and efficiency to new heights.
In 2022, Ciesse reintroduced weekly deliveries of customers' orders to the United Kingdom with their own trucks, with the aim to speed up shipping times and guarantee the arrival of the freshest merchandise possible.
